What size wedding is the best fit for Crystal Ballroom?
200 – 400 people, we have larger ballrooms available if needed
What is your current tax and service charge rate?
Tax is 11.75% and service charge is 24%
Is there a ceremony fee?
Yes, if both the ceremony and reception are on-site, our re-set fees begin at $1,500 +tax. Hotel shall provide ceremony setup to include chairs, a stage/riser, and stairs. Ceremony breakdown and reception re-set of the room are also included.
Do you require event insurance?
Yes, event insurance can be purchased online. One suggested site is Event Insurance - No Deductible - Official EventHelper.com (theeventhelper.com).
Can we set up a payment plan, how much is the depoist and when it is due?
Yes, we can customize a payment plan to spread out payment as long as the total amount is paid in full 10 days prior to your wedding. A 50% deposit is required to at the time of contract signing.
Do you offer discounted guest rooms?
Yes, we will offer a discounted rate for your guests and special upgrades for the couple. A custom link will be provided to send your guest to make their reservations.
We are happy to offer a courtesy block of 15 guest rooms for guests attending your event, based on availability. Guest room blocks over 15 rooms per night must be contracted. Check in time is 3:00 PM and check out time is 12:00 PM.
Does the hotel require an outside wedding/event coordinator?
Yes, a licensed Wedding/Event Coordinator is required. Contact information and proof of basic COI are to be provided at least eight (8) weeks prior to the wedding day. The Wedding/Event Coordinator must be on property the day of the wedding for the entire duration of setup to the event conclusion.
Are your menus customizable?
Yes, our menus are 100% customizable. Your Event planning manager will schedule a tasting with you three months prior to your wedding to taste and select your menu items.
Do we have to use your preferred vendors?
No, you can work with any vendor as long as they are insured and bonded. They should also be familiar with working in a union property.
Do you have options for pre/post-wedding events?
Yes, we have multiple food and beverage outlets to host your events.
Do you have specialty chairs?
No, our basic banquet chairs (grey and silver), are included. Chair upgrades can be sourced through third party vendors.

Use the rooming list template to provide your guests details. If the rooming list does not contain credit card information, you can send it directly to your Event Manager. If you will include individual credit card numbers for each guest, see your Event Manager for next steps.

A collaborative program that helps you and your Event Manager design professional create customized room diagrams and seating to design the best room layouts for your event. You can make your own edits to diagrams to ensure room setups match your vision.

Hyatt’s proprietary group reservation process with customized links to allow your guests to book online within the group block. It also gives you the ability to view reports through the Hyatt Planner Portal.
